Trevor Edwards serves as General Manager of the Dubuque Fighting Saints, overseeing the organization’s hockey operations, including player personnel, scouting, recruiting, roster construction and player development.
Edwards joined the Fighting Saints organization in October 2016 and has spent the past decade growing within the club’s hockey operations department, taking on progressively greater responsibility in player evaluation, recruiting and organizational leadership. He was elevated to Director of Player Personnel in May 2023 before advancing to his current role as General Manager.
In addition to his work with Dubuque, Edwards has been part of the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite organization and has worked as a Skill Development Professional at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex since 2018. His coaching background at the bantam and midget levels includes multiple nationally ranked teams and two USA Hockey National Championship semifinal appearances.
Prior to moving to Pittsburgh, Edwards coached with the HoneyBaked Hockey Club in Michigan. In 2015, he helped lead HoneyBaked to the USA Hockey 14U National Championship, a team that included future Fighting Saints defenseman and coach Jacob Semik.
A native of Carleton Place, Ontario, Edwards played four seasons of NCAA Division I hockey at Clarkson University. Following his collegiate career, he played three professional seasons in the United Hockey League with the Port Huron Beacons and Port Huron Flags.
Throughout his career, Edwards has built his work around identifying, developing and advancing players while helping create sustainable hockey operations structures that support long-term organizational success. His background across scouting, player development, coaching and management has provided him with a broad perspective on building competitive teams and developing players for the next level.
