STEVE ROCK, MD
Steven Rock, MD, has been caring for athletes and active individuals in the Dubuque area since 2001. As a primary care sports medicine physician with Medical Associates Clinic, Dr. Rock provides evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders related to joints, muscles, and bones, as well as injuries caused by trauma, sports, or chronic disease.
Originally trained in pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Dr. Rock developed a passion for sports medicine during residency and went on to complete a fellowship in primary care sports medicine at Metropolitan Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. His unique background allows him to provide expert care for pediatric, adolescent, and young adult athletes, as well as active patients of all ages.
In addition to serving as the team physician for the Dubuque Fighting Saints, Dr. Rock is also the team doctor for the University of Dubuque, Clarke University, local high schools, and the Colts Drum & Bugle Corps. Having grown up in a small town himself, he values providing convenient, high-quality orthopedic care to communities across the Tri-State area.
Whether it’s helping a young athlete return to the rink, supporting a collegiate competitor, or guiding an active adult through recovery, Dr. Rock is dedicated to keeping patients moving and performing at their best.
