Blake Swindall grew up in South Lyon, MI where he played hockey, beginning at the youth level, up through his sophomore year of college. Swindall's playing time included youth travel hockey, high school hockey, and two years of ACHA club hockey at Bowling Green State University.
Swindall received a Bachelor of Science in Education, specializing in Sport Management with a minor of General Business from BGSU.
Before joining the Fighting Saints in August of 2022, Swindall spent three years working in hockey retail, as well as gaining experience as a student equipment manager and hockey operations intern with BGSU's Men's program (DI NCAA).
