Dubuque Fighting Saints

2022-23: Powell debuted for the Fighting Saints in a big way in the season opener against Des Moines on 09/24/22 in the USHL Fall Classic, scoring his first USHL goal in the same contest. As an undrafted roster addition, Powell posted 8-11—19 in 53 games in his rookie season.

Before Joining Saints: Powell joined the Fighting Saints as an undrafted player after bouncing around between a pair of AAA programs. He spent two seasons in Minnesota with Shattuck St. Mary's for his 14U and 15U AAA seasons from 2019-2021. He then moved back to his home state of Illinois for a year where he skated with the Chicago Mission as a 16U skater in 2021-22 where he was teammates with James Reeder.
