Want a Fighting Saints player or our mascot, Bernie the St. Bernard, to attend your organization's upcoming event? The Fighting Saints are dedicated to being an active part of the Dubuque community both on and off the ice. We take requests for player or mascot appearance event requests online, via the mail or via fax.

DUBUQUE YOUTH HOCKEY ASSOCIATION
The Fighting Saints and the Dubuque Youth Hockey Association entered a partnership in the summer of 2012. The youth organization changed the name of its travel teams from the Stars to the Jr. Saints with the partnership, and in turn, the Fighting Saints provided jerseys, socks, and warmups for the travel teams last season. During the season, DYHA players take the ice at Fighting Saints games, and support the team with the purchase of tickets for group nights at the rink. Fighting Saints players and coaches provide training to DYHA and are on the ice with the youth players weekly.

HOUSING FAMILIES
The Fighting Saints organization is looking for comfortable housing situations for our players with families that demonstrate a well-balanced family-oriented life style. We would like families within reasonable travel distance from the Mystique Community Ice Center. Host Families are a vital part of the hockey experience for our young players. A good host family impacts the player on and off the ice. Many players remain in contact with their host families long after they have moved on in their career.

NORTHERN LIGHTS HOCKEY FOUNDATION
The Northern Lights Hockey Foundation is the foundation of the Fighting Saints ownership group, Northern Lights Hockey, LLC. The foundation's mission statement is the promotion of amateur sports competition in the game of hockey in the Tri-State area of Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin, with a particular emphasis on physical education, character development, and education. Local non-profits can apply for a grant from the Northern Lights Hockey Foundation.

NIGHTLY 50/50 RAFFLE
The Northern Lights Hockey Foundation holds nightly 50/50 raffles at Dubuque Fighting Saints home games at the Mystique Community Ice Center. Half of the nightly pot will go to the fan with the winning ticket. The other half will go to the Northern Lights Hockey Foundation to benefit local non-profits.
