DUBUQUE, IA — The Dubuque Fighting Saints have called up affiliate defenseman Julian Brown to the active roster for the remainder of the 2022-23 season.

"The guys have been great. It's obviously a faster pace, so I feel like I'm getter better each day with that," said Brown, who has been practicing with the team for the last few weeks. "I'm just having a great time out here. It's been a lot of fun."

Brown, who was originally selected by the Fighting Saints in the third round of the 2022 Phase I USHL Draft, played this weekend in the NCDC with the Boston Jr. Bruins. In 42 games with the Jr. Bruins, Brown recorded a goal and seven assists with 42 penalty minutes. He has been practicing with Dubuque since his season with Boston ended.

Brown is a native of Montclair, New Jersey and is a 2006 birth year (April 10). He stands at 6'3 and weighs 214 lbs.
