FARGO, ND - The Dubuque Fighting Saints (10-1-1-1, 22 pts) came from behind to beat the Fargo Force (10-0-1-0, 21 pts) 4-3 in overtime on Friday night.

On the Saints' second power play of the night, Lucas St. Louis blasted a one-timer from the circle to give Dubuque its 10th win of the season. It was the second-straight game that Dubuque erased a third-period deficit to earn a win.

On Friday, the Fighting Saints erased a 2-0 deficit in the second period and a 3-2 deficit in the third before St. Louis' game-winner in overtime.

After giving up two goals in 33 seconds early in the second, Juraj Pekarcik started the Saints' road back just a few minutes later. It was his first of two goals in the win with his second tying the game in the third period to force overtime.

A few minutes after Pekarcik's first goal, James Reeder tallied his fifth of the season to tie the game at two. A late goal in the second sent Fargo into the third period with a one-goal lead. Pekarcik's second was blasted by goaltender Anton Castro to send the game into overtime.

Kevin Reidler made 29 saves in his seventh win of the season, including a handful of prime stops to keep Dubuque even or within one.

The win moves Dubuque to the top of the USHL standings with 22 points. The Fighting Saints handed Fargo its first loss of the season with Friday's win.

The Fighting Saints are back on the ice on Saturday night when they take on the Sioux City Musketeers on the road. Puck drop is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. CST.
